Oud is one of the most used scents in high-end perfumery. This aroma is obtained from the trees of the genus of Aquilaria and Aloexylum that grow in South-East Asia and whose wood is deeply aromatic due to the infection of a fungus and producing an immune response from the tree and thus generating a very odorous resin.
